Police charge three after seizure of drugs, cash and weapons in St Kilda

Detectives from the Caulfield Divisional Response Unit have charged two men and a woman with various offences following the execution of a search warrant in St Kilda today.

Investigators executed the warrant at an address on St Kilda Road just before 8.30am and located cannabis, heroin, prescription drugs and a commercial quantity of alleged methylamphetamine.

Also located was a handgun, ammunition, a taser, stolen power tools, stolen identification documents and an amount of cash.

A 34-year-old St Kilda man has been charged with various offences including traffick commercial quantity of methylamphetamine, traffick heroin, possess handgun, possess cartridge of ammunition, possess prohibited weapon and deal property proceeds of crime.

He was remanded in custody to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 25 June.

A 32-year-old St Kilda man has been charged with possess cannabis, possess methylamphetamine, commit indictable offence whilst on bail and breaching bail.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at the County Court on 28 June.

A 32-year-old St Kilda woman has been charged with possess methylamphetamine, possess heroin, possess cannabis, possess prescription drugs and possess prohibited weapon.

She has been bailed to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 1 December.
