Police concerned for teen missing from Lake Illawarra region

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teen missing from the Lake Illawarra region.

Tommy Holmes, aged 17, was last seen about 1.30pm yesterday (Friday 3 July 2020), outside a school on Smith Street in Wollongong.

Officers from Lake Illawarra Police District were alerted when he failed to return to his Warilla home and couldn't be located or contacted.

Concerns are held for his welfare and police are appealing for assistance from the community to locate him.

Tommy is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 165cm to 170cm tall, with a large build and blond hair.

He was last seen wearing a black and grey jacket, a black t-shirt with a Nike motif, black pants and a grey hat.

Anyone who sees Tommy, or believes they know his whereabouts, is urged to contact police immediately.
