Police investigate serious assault at Logan

Police are investigating the serious assault of a man at Logan Village earlier today.

At 3.15pm, officers conducting a welfare check located an injured man at an address on Quinzeh Creek Road.

The 53-year-old man was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment to a wound to his neck and his head. He is currently in a critical condition.

A crime scene has been declared as officers work to determine the circumstances surrounding the man's injuries.

Anyone in the area at the time who may have dashcam footage or CCTV to assist the investigation is urged to contact police.
