Police lay charges over unlawful entry - Narrows

Northern Territory Police have charged two men in relation to an unlawful entry at a residence in The Narrows at about 10:00am yesterday.

Soon after the unlawful entry, police located the two men in a vehicle at the intersection of Vanderlin Drive and Trower Road and placed them under arrest. The 31-year-old driver later tested positive to cannabis and the 44-year-old passenger was found with 19.6 grams of cannabis.

A 31-year-old male has been charged with:

  • drive without l plates when required
  • driver with prohibited drug in body
  • damage to property
  • unlawful entry - dwelling
  • robbery - aggravated

He was scheduled to appear before Darwin Local Court today.

A 44-year-old male has been charged with:

  • damage to property
  • unlawful entry - dwelling
  • robbery - aggravated
  • possess schedule 2 drug - less than traffickable quantity

He was bailed to appear before Darwin Local Court on Wednesday 12 August 2020.
