Police looking for vehicle after Exeter pedestrian crash

Police are calling for assistance from the public to identify a vehicle involved in a pedestrian crash in Exeter this morning.

About 11:40am a woman was struck by a white Toyota Camry sedan as it was conducting a U-turn outside the post office on Main Road.

The pedestrian was knocked onto the bonnet of the car before falling off as the driver reportedly failed to stop and drove away from the scene.

The woman did not suffer serious injuries.

Police would like to speak with anyone who was in the area at the time and may be able to identify the vehicle and driver involved.

Dash cam footage can be provided to police through the evidence portal.
