Police are seeking public assistance to help locate missing man Ammar Elmir.
The 20-year-old was last seen at his home in Primula Avenue, Brooklyn about 11pm on 5 December.
Police and his family have concerns for Ammar's welfare as his disappearance is out of character.
Ammar is Middle Eastern in appearance, 190cm tall, slim build, with short black hair and dark beard.
He is known to frequent Laverton and Geelong.
Investigators have released an image of Ammar in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information regarding his current whereabouts.
Anyone who sees Ammar or has information about his current whereabouts is asked to contact the Altona Police Station on 03 9392 3111.
