Police seek help to locate Ernest Mackay - Central Coast

Officers from Tuggerah Lakes Police District are appealing for public assistance to locate a 78-year-old man who has gone missing from his Central Coast home at the weekend.

Ernest Mackay was last seen at his Scenic Highway, Doyalson, home about midday on Sunday 12 May 2019. He left the home soon after and hasn't been seen since.

Family of Mr Mackay reported his disappearance to police due to concerns he had wondered off into bushland that surrounds his home. Police were also told Mr Mackay suffers the early stages of dementia and may have become disorientated.

He is described as being Caucasian in appearance, about 175cm tall with a thin build and grey/black hair. He was last seen wearing King Gee overalls and white gum boots.

Anyone who may have seen Ernest Mackay is asked to contact officers at Wyong Police Station, or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
