Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses following an assault of a 31-year-old woman in Katherine overnight.
On Wednesday 10 June, between the hours of 6:00pm and midnight, the woman was in the vicinity of the Bicentennial Road and Stuart Highway intersection, when she was assaulted.
The woman suffered serious injuries to her head and hands and was conveyed to Katherine District Hospital for medical treatment.
