Illuminate Raymond Terrace 2026 returns to Boomerang Park on Saturday 19 September for a free community celebration.
The evening will light up Boomerang Park from 4pm to 8pm, with live music, fire twirlers, fireworks, food, stalls and lanterns creating a free, family-friendly celebration.
The much-loved event has been created alongside local schools, community groups, services, Raymond Terrace locals and businesses, all working together to deliver an unforgettable night.
Port Stephens Mayor Leah Anderson said Illuminate is an opportunity for the Raymond Terrace community to come together and celebrate local pride.
"Illuminate is about bringing people together and creating something Raymond Terrace is proud of. It's a great celebration of Raymond Terrace and showcases what makes this place so special," Mayor Anderson said.
"From students creating lanterns at school workshops to local businesses getting behind the event and community organisations connecting with residents on the night, Illuminate is a true celebration of Raymond Terrace," Mayor Anderson added.
Local schools are helping to bring Illuminate to life through lantern-making workshops with students from Irrawang Public School, Raymond Terrace Public School, St Brigid's Primary School, Grahamstown Public School and Alesco Secondary College.
Mayor Anderson welcomed the return of The Mutual Bank as naming rights sponsor for Illuminate Raymond Terrace.
"We're incredibly grateful to The Mutual Bank for returning as our naming rights sponsor for Illuminate Raymond Terrace. We simply couldn't run events like this without sponsorship support," Mayor Anderson said.
