Campaspe Shire Council is proud to announce the SPARK – Arts & Cultural Grants Program 2026 will open on 1 October, offering up to $10,000 for local creative projects across the region.
With a total funding pool of $50,000 available, the SPARK grants aim to support artists, creative practitioners, arts groups and community organisations to develop and deliver new ideas, artworks and experiences that reflect the rich cultural identity of Campaspe Shire.
Campaspe Shire Mayor Councillor Daniel Mackrell said the program reflected Council's commitment to fostering a vibrant and inclusive creative sector.
"Art and culture are vital to the health and vibrancy of our communities.
"SPARK is about supporting our local creatives to bring their ideas to life, while encouraging connection, storytelling and participation across our shire. Whether you're an emerging artist, a creative collective, or a community group working on something special – we want to hear from you," he said.
The grant supports a wide range of creative disciplines, including visual arts, music, performance, digital arts, literature, community art and cultural practice. Projects must be delivered within Campaspe Shire between 5 January and 27 November 2026.
SPARK projects can include interactive installations, local exhibitions, public workshops, youth-led storytelling initiatives, performances and much more.
"This grant helps celebrate the creative heart of Campaspe," Cr Mackrell said.
"It's about investing in local talent and creating opportunities for our artists and communities to thrive."
