The Study Australia Partnership, comprising Austrade and all state and territory study destination agencies, held a virtual Global Agent Update event on August 25-26, 2022. The online event hosted over 1,000 agent participants from 55 countries.
The event featured speakers from Austrade and the Department of Home Affairs, with global sessions complemented by regional and local in-language and in-person sessions, as well as a virtual exhibition hall.
Topics covered included student visa updates, the new Study Australia marketing toolkit and Study Australia Partnership project updates.
Post-event surveys noted an 89% satisfaction rate among attendees, with many positive comments regarding the usefulness of content featured, particularly in relation to visa processing and agent access to the Study Australia Marketing Toolkit.
Feedback for future sessions included the inclusion of more information on student experience, shorter sessions and for agent events to be held more frequently. All feedback will be noted when designing future events.
