Three assaulted in CBD, South Australia

Police are looking for two men after they allegedly assaulted three people in the CBD this afternoon.

Just after 3pm on Wednesday 23 December, patrols were called to bus stop 2A on the eastern side of King William Road, following reports a bus driver was being assaulted by two men after he requested them to leave due to their behaviour. A security officer was also assaulted by the two men as he tried to remove them from the bus. As the pair left, they allegedly assaulted a member of the public by punching him in the face.

The bus driver was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with facial injuries while the security officer and the member of the public both received minor injuries which did not require medical treatment. The pair were last seen heading towards the Torrens River.
