A successful year for trainees at FZJ has come close: in 2026, a total of 73 FZJ trainees successfully completed their final examinations. Sixteen were assessed as "very good" and another eighteen as "good". The last of the results for the 2026 winter examination candidates have now been issued by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK).
We warmly congratulate our newly qualified professionals on completing their vocational training and wish them every success and fulfilment as they embark on the next chapter of their careers.
Sommer examinations 2026: eight assessed as "very good"

On Friday, 28 August 2026, the trainees who completed their examinations this summer were honoured in the lecture theatre of the Central Library. A total of 52 trainees graduated. Eight of them were assessed as "very good" and ten as "good".
A particularly noteworthy achievement is that the physics laboratory technicians and industrial mechanics completed their training ahead of schedule due to their outstanding performance.[
Eight winter examination candidates assessed as "very good"

On 6 March 2026, the trainees who completed their final examinations in winter were honoured in the lecture theatre of the Central Library. Of a total of 20 graduates, eight were assessed as "very good" and another eight as "good". Here too, groups of trainees shortened their vocational training and completed their final examinations ahead of schedule: all of the chemical laboratory technicians and office managers were fast-tracked thanks to their performance.
