United States and Kuwait Launch Fourth Strategic Dialogue

Today, the United States opened the fourth U.S.-Kuwait Strategic Dialogue with the State of Kuwait launching a series of bilateral working groups in a virtual format. These bilateral working groups will take place over the next two weeks on: Political, Human Rights and Development; Education and Scientific Cooperation; Security; Consular, Customs, and Border Protection; Trade and Investment; and Defense. The Strategic Dialogue will culminate with a meeting between Secretary Michael R. Pompeo and Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohamed Al-Sabah on November 24 in Washington, DC.
