Police have arrested wanted man Simon Bekiri locating him a short time ago at a residence at Woodville North.

Police have arrested wanted man Simon Bekiri, locating him a short time ago at a residence at Woodville North.

Just before 2pm on Thursday 28 May, Detectives from the Serious and Organised Crime Branch, State Tactical Response Group and STAR group officers, attended a home at Woodville North, locating wanted man Simon Bekiri and taking him into custody without incident.

A warrant was issued for Bekiri on Tuesday 26 May for breaching his intensive bail supervision order and cutting off his monitoring bracelet.

The 38-year-old man has been charged with breaching his bail. A 38-year-old woman from Adelaide also located at the address has also been arrested over an outstanding parole warrant.

Bekiri is expected to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court tomorrow Friday 29 May at around 10am.

A white Mercedes sedan believed to have been connected to the wanted man was located this morning in Waymouth Street at Adelaide.
