Wembley indecent assault update

Perth Detectives continue to investigate an indecent assault that occurred in the early hours of Sunday, 24 May 2020 in Wembley are asking the below people to come forward as they may be able to assist with this investigation.

Around 12.30am, a man forced entry into a unit on Herdsman Parade. The occupant of the home, a woman in her 30s who was asleep, woke up to find the man leaning over her. He indecently assaulted her before she managed to free herself and call out causing the man to flee.

Detectives are asking the pictured people to come forward as they may have critical information to assist in this investigation.

• One is a man who was seen on Herdsman Parade around the time of the incident. He is described as between 40 – 50 years of age, wearing blue pants, a dark jumper with three horizontal white stripes across the front, white shoes and a dark beanie.

• A man wearing dark clothing who was riding a bicycle along Herdsman Parade around 11.40pm.

• Also a couple who were seen walking along Herdsman Parade and talking in the carpark of a unit block near around 12.25am.
