More than 800 people rugged up and braved the cold on Saturday evening to enjoy a night of live entertainment and family fun at Wodonga Council's second CoCreate event.
The crowd size doubled the inaugural CoCreate in March.
The audience enjoyed music from Melbourne's premier brass band Horns of Leroy, local performer Liam Dalby and the Murray Conservatorium.
Residents were treated to a visual performance by Dark Arts - Saxophone and Projection featuring Jennifer O'Hara (visual artist) and Stephen O'Connell (saxophone) who know how to deliver a memorable artistic concert experience, while Johnny's Rockers got people into the swing of things with foot-tapping rock 'n' roll.
Border artist Kade Sarte created a stunning mural before people's eyes, highlighting the flair and skill of street art.
Also capturing plenty of attention were inflatable light-up art installations throughout the courtyard of The Cube Wodonga.
The artists behind the installations - Maurice Goldberg and Matthew Aberline - are from Goldberg Aberline Studio, a collaborative artist team best known for their huge colourful inflatable installations that have been shown around Australia and overseas, including New York, London and Copenhagen.
The Flying Fruit Fly Circus had the audience on the edge of their seats as young performers gave a one-of-a-kind contemporary circus performance.
A large scale projection accompanied by music and spoken words told a compelling story on the exterior of Hyphen - Wodonga Library Gallery. The work explored the relationship between the Australian outback and those fortunate to experience its intense isolation and vibrant flora and fauna.
The visual art incorporated multiple media which was animated to create a moving image, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the gently unveiling imagery.
The visual art, music and narrative were created as an ensemble with each art form supporting and responding to its counterpart.
Children were entertained by Natalie Schrikker in the Hyphen - Wodonga Library Gallery with two special storytimes during the night.
Despite the cold and damp conditions, visitors gave the event a thumbs-up and council is now gearing up for a third CoCreate to be held in September.
