Northern Territory Police have charged a 27-year-old man in relation to an alleged aggravated assault in Katherine.
Just after midnight on Tuesday 15 December, police observed two males fighting in the Katherine CBD.
As a result of serious injuries received during the incident, a 33-year-old man was transported to Royal Darwin Hospital by Careflight.
The 27-year-old was charged with:
- unlawfully cause serious harm
- aggravated assault
He was remanded in custody to appear in Katherine Local Court today.
