COVID-19 update - 8 June 2020

The Department of Health has reported zero new cases of COVID-19 overnight, with the State total remaining at 599.

There are currently 31 active cases in WA - 10 are Western Australians, one is from interstate and 20 are crew members from the livestock carrier, the Al Kuwait.

To date, 559 people have recovered from the virus in WA.

Yesterday 621 people presented to WA COVID-19 clinics - 584 were assessed and 579 were swabbed.

In addition, 281 asymptomatic people were tested yesterday through the DETECT Snapshot program.

To date there have been 118,497 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those tested, 20,845 were from regional WA.
