Hidden in Gold Coast: Mystery of $1.8M Lotto Jackpot

A Broadbeach resident, or potentially a visitor to the area, has begun their workweek as a millionaire, having secured a win of over $1.8 million in the recent Saturday Gold Lotto draw. However, there's a catch: they may still be unaware of their significant windfall.

This anonymous player from the Gold Coast possesses one of the 11 division one winning entries in the Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4409, held on Saturday, 21 October 2023. Each winning ticket is worth a handsome $1,818,181.82.

The winning ticket isn't tied to any player card. This means that the lotto officials can't contact this lucky millionaire. They now have to patiently wait for the ticket holder to check their ticket and come forward to claim their prize.

The winning ticket was purchased from Pacific Fair News, located at Shop 1571 in the Pacific Fair Shopping Centre on Hooker Boulevard, Broadbeach.

Anthony Milligan, the proud owner of Pacific Fair News, shared his excitement, saying “We were only speaking about how amazing it would be to sell a division one entry the other day, and then it happened!” He added that the entire team is buzzing with joy and eagerly awaiting the winner's discovery of their fortune.

James Eddy, a spokesperson for The Lott, is equally eager for the winner to come forward.

“Our elusive winner is likely oblivious to the fact they’ve won a division one prize in the weekend’s draw,” and urged everyone who bought a ticket from Pacific Fair News to check their numbers.

The winning numbers for the Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4409 on 21 October 2023 were 30, 29, 7, 2, 31, and 12. The supplementary numbers were 9 and 33. You can find the breakdown of the divisional winnings here: Saturday Lotto Superdraw 4409 Makes 11 Millionaires.
