Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate Matthew Savage.
Warrants have been issued for the 37-year-old's arrest in relation to theft and deception offences.
Police have released an image of Savage in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information on his whereabouts.
He is described as about 165cm tall, with a thin build and dark hair with shaved back and sides.
Savage is known to frequent the Melbourne CBD and Ballarat areas.
