OAS Council to Honor Women's Day, Rare Disease Day

The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) will hold two meetings on Wednesday, March 6 in the Simon Bolivar room at OAS headquarters in Washington, DC.

At 10:00 EST (15:00 GMT), the Council will commemorate International Women´s Day and consider the draft resolution "Designation of the space known as 'Hall of Heroes' as 'Hall of the Heroines and Heroes of the Americas."

Then at 15:00 EST (20:00 GMT) the Council will commemorate "International Rare Disease Day."

The meetings will be broadcast live - with interpretation in Spanish, English, French and Portuguese- on the OAS Website and the OAS Facebook page
