Police appeal for information after statue vandalised at Randwick

Police are appealing for public information after a statue was vandalised at Randwick over the weekend.

About 1.45pm yesterday (Sunday 14 June 2020) Eastern Beaches Police Area Command were notified of vandalism on a statue on the corner of Belmore Road and Avoca Street.

The damage is believed to have occurred between 8pm on Saturday 13 June 2020 and 8.45am on Sunday 14 June 2020.

Police are appealing for anyone with information about this incident or noticed any suspicious activity to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Investigations are continuing and police will conduct proactive patrols in the area.
