Police appeal to locate elderly missing woman - North Coast

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly woman missing on the state's North Coast area.

Margaret Gribble, aged 88, was last seen leaving a home on Camden Street, Ballina about 4pm yesterday (Monday 21 June 2021).

A community member reported her missing to officers from Richmond Police District who commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police have been told she has not made contact with friends or family members since yesterday, which is out of character for her.

Margaret is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 167cm tall, of a thin build, with short grey hair and brown eyes.

It is believed Margaret walks with the aid of a walking frame.
