Police charge man after Craigieburn shootings

Detectives from Fawkner Embona Taskforce have charged a man following two alleged firearms incidents in Craigieburn on Tuesday.

Police were called to the Hume Highway after reports a number of shots were fired at a car about 12.50pm on Tuesday 9 June.

A white Holden ute sustained damage during the alleged incident however no one was injured.

It also believed a number of shots were fired into a residential premises on Malcolm Creek Parade about 12.45pm. No one was injured during this incident.

The 25-year-old Craigieburn man has been charged with reckless conduct endangering life, prohibited person possess firearm and traffic offences.

He will appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court today.
