Police investigate serious assault at COMO

Police are seeking information regarding a serious assault in Como on Saturday 10 December 2022.

About 7pm, a man was reversing his vehicle outside his unit on Mary Street, when a group of people smashed the windows with baseball bats, then assaulted him.

When the man's partner attempted to assist, she was also assaulted, before the group left the scene in a vehicle.

The man and woman – both aged 31 – were assessed by St John Ambulance; however, did not require hospital treatment.

As investigations continue, police have released mobile phone vision and images of males they believe may be able to assist them with their inquiries.

The males were wearing black balaclavas and black clothing. They left the area in a large white SUV.
