Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing teenager Scarlett Saxon-Jones, Victoria Police say.
The 16-year-old was last seen in the Sunshine area about 1.45pm today.
Police and family members hold concerns for Scarlett’s welfare due to her age and a medical condition that requires medication.
It is believed Scarlett may be travelling on public transport from Werribee to Melbourne’s CBD, Bendigo, Traralgon, Pakenham or Warragul.
Scarlett is described as Caucasian in appearance, hazel eyes, shoulder length brown hair, 170cm tall.
She was last seen wearing a black puffer jacket, black long sleeved top, grey track pants and carrying a grey back pack.
Investigators have released an image of Scarlett in the hope someone recognises her and can provide information on her current whereabouts.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Werribee Police Station on 9742 9444.
