Police seek information after road rage incident at Liverpool

Police are appealing for public assistance following a road rage incident at a carpark in Liverpool overnight.

About 8pm (Wednesday 30 December 2020), a 22-year-old man and his two male passengers were driving through a carpark on Orange Grove Road in a Lexus sedan when they were approached by a male and a verbal argument commenced.

The occupants of car left the vehicle and a physical altercation began between the driver and the other man.

The fight stopped, and the three occupants returned to the car before driving away.

A short time later the vehicle stopped and up to a dozen men and women ran towards the Lexus and began kicking and jumping on the car, causing significant damage.

The men were able to drive away from the scene and reported the incident to police.

Officers from Liverpool City Police Area Command are now appealing for public assistance for any information about this incident, or for anyone who may have phone vision of the incident, to contact Liverpool Police Station on (02)9765 9499.
