It is alleged the incident occurred around 2am on Baker Street at Darling Heights when the Toyota Landcruiser collided with a Toyota Camry sedan.

Following the crash the driver of the Camry, a 38-year-old Rangeville man, attempted to exit his vehicle but was dragged along the road when the Landcruiser allegedly attempted to leave the scene with the Camry attached due to the damage caused in the crash.

The victim sustained serious injuries and was transported to hospital.

On 8 April 2026, police seized the Toyota Landcruiser alleged to have been involved in a traffic crash.
