Public appeal after Collingwood aggravated burglary

Yarra Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for help to identify a man following an aggravated burglary in Collingwood earlier this month.

Police understand the victim was sitting watching television when he saw a man coming in his back door about 10.20pm on Thursday 4 June.

The victim yelled out and the man fled.

The man is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance with short dark hair.

He was wearing a light-coloured tee shirt, dark pants and light-coloured Adidas runners.

Police have released CCTV and images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
