Public Exhibition - Draft Markets Policy

Hawkesbury City Council's Draft Markets Policy is on now public exhibition until Friday, 18 December 2020.

The purpose of the Markets Policy is to:

  • establish a consistent process for assessing and approving markets held on Council land or Crown lands under the care and control of Council
  • demonstrate the level of commitment required from market operators to achieve quality markets operations
  • facilitate well managed markets that help to support and contribute to the local community, complementing the offerings of local businesses.

A copy of the Draft Markets Policy can be viewed on Council's website www.hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au via the Have Your Say tab or directly at www.yourhawkesbury-yoursay.com.au

The draft policy can also be viewed in hard copy at Council's Administration Building, 366 George Street, Windsor during office hours 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday; or Richmond Library during office hours 9:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 1pm on Saturdays; or Hawkesbury Central Library, 300 George Street, Windsor during office hours 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 1pm on Saturdays and 2pm to 5pm on Sundays.
