Secretary Pompeo's Call with Austrian Foreign Minister Schallenberg 12 November

Secretary of State Michael R. Pompeo spoke today with Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg and offered, on behalf of the American people, his condolences on the tragic loss of four lives in the terrorist attacks perpetrated by an Islamic State supporter in Vienna on November 2. Secretary Pompeo also wished a speedy recovery to all those wounded in the attack. He condemned the heinous attack in the strongest possible terms and offered further U.S. support for the investigation. Secretary Pompeo emphasized that the United States remains committed to our close cooperation with Austria in the fight against terrorism.
