Police attended a single vehicle crash on Sky Farm Road at Claremont around 9.15am this morning.
The crash occurred when a white Toyota LandCruiser, travelling in a westerly direction, veered off the left-hand side of the road and rolled down an embankment.
As a result of the crash the sole occupant, a 42-year-old female from the northern suburbs, was required to be extricated from the vehicle. She was conveyed to the Royal Hobart Hospital suffering non-life-threatening injuries.
Sky Farm Road was closed for around three hours while Tasmania Police, Tasmania Fire Service and Ambulance Tasmania extricated the driver.
At the time of the crash the weather was fine and road was dry. Speed, alcohol and drugs are not considered to be factors in the crash.
