South Australia coronovirus update as at 31 December 2020

There have been two new cases of COVID-19 today, both reported from a medi-hotel. There have been a total of 576 cases notified in South Australia.

Today's cases are a man in his 20's who has recently returned from overseas and a woman in her 20's who is a close contact from a previous case. Both cases have been in a medi-hotel since their arrival.

Further testing on a previous case from Victoria has confirmed the result represents an old infection and as this case has already been reported in VIC, it will be removed from our total case numbers.

Following a reconciliation of testing numbers, a total of 1,610 tests have been removed from the total testing number. Total tests are now 830,746.
