The Swedish Cancer Society (Cancerfonden) has announced its research grants for 2025. Around 73 million has been awarded to researchers at the Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Karolinska Institutet.

- Anna Johansson - SEK 3,000,000 for the project "The influence of socioeconomic inequalities and reproductive factors on the risk and survival of breast cancer subtypes - enhancing the use of Nordic cancer registry data"
- Paul Lambert - SEK 4,500,000 for the project "Improving the utility of cancer registry data: Novel statistical methods to better quantify and understand survival differences between groups and regions"
- Tobias Nordström - SEK 4,500,000 for the project "From Trial to Tailored Screening - studies to inform future early detection of prostate cancer with a focus on long-term results and the elder population"
