Appeal after home invasion at Dubbo

Police are appealing to the public following a home invasion in the state's Central West at the weekend.

About 9.45pm on Sunday (1 November 2020), three unknown men – armed with a knife and a weapon – forced entry to a home on Meadowbank Drive, Dubbo.

Police have been told that the men threatened the occupants, a 37-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man, before fleeing with the woman's handbag.

Officers from Orana Mid Western Police District attended and commenced an investigation.

The occupants were not physically injured.

The three men are all described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, aged between 25-30. One is described as 175cm tall and of solid build, the second as 190cm tall and of thin build, and the third as 185cm tall and of medium build.

As inquiries continue, anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam vision from the area and its surrounds are urged to contact Dubbo Police or Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000.
