Two Hudson Institute research projects are among 14 statewide to receive funding in the latest round of grants from the Victorian Medical Research Acceleration Fund (VMRAF).
Established by the Victorian Government in 2017, the VMRAF provides funding support to accelerate health and medical research, fast-tracking innovative projects from the laboratory to real-world impact.
Professor Michelle Tate and Professor Jun Yang will each receive Tier 1 funding of approximately $100,000 over the next two years.
Awarded through a highly competitive process, these grants back innovative early-stage discoveries with strong translational potential, helping researchers take critical steps towards delivering tangible benefits for patients and the community.
