The City of Canada Bay has reached 50 per cent completion on its major upgrade of the picturesque waterside reserve in Drummoyne.
"With its beautiful water views and quiet location, Howley Park offers an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life," City of Canada Bay Mayor Michael Megna said.
"In keeping with this theme, our upgrade will focus on improving pedestrian access at the reserve, as well as creating more opportunities for residents to relax and enjoy the space.
"This includes the construction of a new pedestrian ramp and pathways, an all-abilities parking space, terraced landscaping, new seating, and more."
The upgrades align with the Howley Park Masterplan and reflect community feedback captured between 2021 and 2023, calling for revegetation, new park furniture, and improved pedestrian access.
In line with the City of Canada Bay's commitment to enhancing foreshore access, the project will also deliver new beach stairs, opening a previously closed‑off section of the foreshore.

This project is proudly funded by the NSW Government in partnership with the City of Canada Bay.
