It's time to shape your future

We're an inclusive and diverse community here in Yarra. We all have different interests, needs and hopes for the future. What do you want your future to look like?

Over the next two months we'll be asking you what needs to happen for Yarra to be the best it can be in 2035. Together we're creating Yarra's first ever Community Vision, which will guide all your council's work over the next 15 years.

This is a once-in-a-generation chance to make your mark on this special place we all love. It's also an opportunity to challenge some traditional ideas about how we live, work and play – particularly as we move into a post-COVID world.

Get amongst it!

We want to hear from as many people as possible. Whether you live in Yarra, own a business, work here or just like to visit sometimes – your voice matters.

Online

  • Tell us what you think online at yoursayyarra.com.au/future
  • So everyone can have a say – no matter where you are in the world – we're also hosting online workshops in December. More details coming soon.

In-person

  • We're in your neighbourhood in November and December – pop on by for a chat and to share your thoughts, aspirations and ideas. These events are subject to COVID-19 restrictions at the time.

Your feedback in this round will feed into the Community Vision, our next Council Plan, annual budget and long-term plans for managing our assets and finances.

Stage one of consultation ends on Friday 15 January 2021 – don't miss out!
