Library click and collect coming to Robinvale

The Swan Hill Regional Library is starting a click and collect service for the Robinvale community from Thursday, 18 June.

Swan Hill Rural City Council Libraries Manager Camille Cullinan said the click and collect service would enable community members in the Robinvale area to access library materials.

"Offering a click and collect service to our Robinvale community is the first step in the reopening of full mobile library services," Ms Cullinan said.

"However, for the safety of our staff and community members, this will be in a staged approach, starting with a click and collect service," Ms Cullinan said.

Ms Cullinan added there were a couple of ways customers could request materials.

"Community members will be able to request library materials through the click and collect service either online or over the phone," Ms Cullinan said.

"When items are ready, an appointment will be made to collect them from the Mobile Library when it visits Robinvale on Thursdays."

Ms Cullinan added that the Mobile Library will only be available to customers with a click and collect appointment.

"Apart from these individual appointments, the Mobile Library will be shut to the public. This is to continue to ensure the safety of our community and staff," Ms Cullinan said.

Customers can request library materials through the click and collect service either online at https://library.swanhill.vic.gov.au/ or over the phone by calling the Swan Hill Regional Library.
