Nelson Bays Detectives are investigating a serious assault that took place in Motueka on Sunday July 4 between 2.00am and 2.30am.
A woman was allegedly attacked as she walked home somewhere between High Street and Thorp Street or between Greenwood and Tudor Streets.
Detectives are particularly interested in the area in or around Wilkinson Street to Ledger Avenue, Goodman Drive and Ledger - Goodman park.
