Police arrest woman for criminal neglect, South Australia

A woman will face court on a charge of criminal neglect following a recent investigation.

On Thursday 29 October, Detectives from the Special Crimes Investigation Section arrested a woman from the southern suburbs for criminal neglect and aggravated assault.

Police will allege that a girl in her care suffered harm due to neglect.

The extensive investigation comprised of local District Detectives and specialist areas of SAPOL over the past several months.

The 51-year-old woman has been bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on 16 December.
