Public place shooting - South Granville

Police are investigating a public place shooting in South Granville.

Emergency services were called to Clyde Street about 1.40pm (Sunday 22 November 2020), responding to reports of shots fired.

A short time later police were advised a 17-year-old youth had been brought to Auburn Hospital suffering a gunshot wound to the shoulder.

He has been transferred to Westmead Hospital and is reported to be in a stable condition.

Officers from Cumberland Police Area Command have established a crime scene in Clyde Street and investigations are now underway.
