Teenager stabbed in Sydney's south-west

Police are investigating after a teenager was stabbed during a brawl in Sydney's south-west this afternoon.

About 3:20pm (Friday 6 November 2020), police were called to a brawl outside Doonside Railway Station on the corner of Cross Street and Coghlan Crescent, Doonside.

Officers were told a group of youths were fighting in the street, however, the group had dispersed prior to police arrival.

A 14-year-old boy was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to the Children's Hospital at Westmead with suspected stab wounds. His condition is considered stable.

A crime scene has been established as officers from Blacktown Police Area Command commence an investigation.
