WA Health is reporting a total of 4,034 new cases to 6pm last night. There are currently 26,939 active cases in Western Australia.
To 6pm last night, there were 417 people with COVID-19 in hospital, 15 in ICU.
Sadly, today's report includes thirteen deaths, dating back to 17 July, which were reported to WA Health yesterday – one female in her 100s, three females and a male in their 90s, two females and three males in their 80s, and two females and a male in their 70s.

Of the 4,034 cases, 1362 were confirmed via PCR test, the remaining 2672 were self-reported positive rapid antigen tests.
A total of 6,043 PCR tests were conducted at either state-run or private pathology clinics yesterday.
WA has recorded 1,061,791 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
In line with national guidelines, WA Health has adjusted the total number of reported cases in this State, to preclude secondary positive test results within 12 weeks of leaving isolation following initial COVID infection.
