Drugs and stolen number plates seized during search warrant - Southern Region

Police have seized drugs during a search warrant at a property in the Illawarra.

About 7.30am today (Tuesday 29 June 2021), officers attached to the South East Region Enforcement Squad (RES) executed a Firearms Prohibition Order at a home in Manuka Avenue, Avondale.

There, they spoke to a 22-year-old man who is a member of an outlaw motorcycle gang.

Police seized 500ml of testosterone enanthate, a white powder, and a set of NSW registration plates alleged to have been stolen.

Police also located OMCG clothing and memorabilia. All the items seized will undergo forensic examination.

The man will be issued with a Future Court Attendance Notice.

Investigations are continuing.
