Flinders Street home invasion investigation continues

Investigators from Melbourne Embona Task Force are seeking to identify two men following a home invasion in the Melbourne CBD earlier this month.

Police allege four male occupants were in an apartment at a Flinders Street hotel about 5am on 7 June, when they invited two unknown men inside.

A short time later one of the men let three other unknown males into the apartment without the knowledge or consent of the occupants.

All five men allegedly threatened the occupants with kitchen knives before making demands for property and cash.

Three men, a 22-year-old from Reservoir, and 18-year-old from Greensborough and a man in his 20s, have handed themselves in to police.

They are currently assisting investigators with their enquires.

Investigators have released CCTV stills of two men who they believe can assist with their enquiries.
