Police charge man over break and enter at Condell Park - Strike Force Shaughnessy

A man will appear in court today charged as part of an ongoing investigation into several alleged extortions, kidnappings, break and enter, firearm and drug-related offences.

Last year, detectives from the State Crime Command's Robbery and Serious Crime Squad established Strike Force Shaughnessy to investigate the activities of a criminal syndicate operating across Sydney.

During the investigation, officers received information about an alleged break and enter at a business at Condell Park on Sunday 29 September 2019.

In April this year, detectives arrested two men – aged 25 and 46 – in relation to the incident. They were charged and remain before the courts.

Following extensive investigations, officers arrested a 26-year-old man at Bankstown Police Station just after 4pm yesterday (Sunday 14 June 2020).

The Yagoona man was charged with aggravated break and enter with intent (in company) and install/use tracking device to find person no consent.

Police will allege in court that the man was involved in the break and enter at Condell Park in September last year.

He was refused bail to appear at Campbelltown Local Court today (Monday 15 June 2020).

Investigations under Strike Force Shaughnessy are continuing.
