Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Burpengary 17 June

A 93-year-old man has died after being hit by a cyclist at Burpengary on Monday.

The man was walking along the footpath of Burpengary Service Road near Reynolds Court when a cyclist riding in the opposite direction collided with him.

He was treated by paramedics and transported to Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital where he died yesterday.

The rider, a 43-year-old Narangba man, was not physically injured.

Investigations are continuing.
