The 2021 Caravan Camping Holiday Supershow has been a huge success with the biggest turnout since the new six day format was introduced in 2017, record sales and a many very happy campers.

With strong demand for domestic holidays and desire to take to the road, the Supershow proved to be the ideal place to explore caravan and camping holidays as well as enjoying a great day out for all the family.

“The Supershow is always a very popular event attended by thousands of people every year. While people couldn’t come last year, it is fantastic that they have returned this year with increased enthusiasm,” Caravan & Camping Industry Association (NSW) CEO Lyndel Grey said.

“This year’s show was a true success with more than 61,000 attending over six days, a significant increase on years past.

“Our exhibitors were thrilled with the customer engagement with many reporting record sales and strong demand as people looked for products, services and inspiration for their next holiday.

“Caravan and camping is the number one choice for a holiday in NSW and after a year of restricted travel, it’s great to see people are keenly embracing the opportunity to plan their next trip.”

Ms Gray said that while planning for this year’s event was challenging the CCIA had successfully put in place new COVID protocols to ensure both visitors and exhibitors were able to safely enjoy the Supershow.

“We are thrilled with the success of the Supershow and to see consumers are still keen to get back out looking at caravan and camping products and are happily planning their next holiday.

“It’s been a mixed year for the industry and one that has seen consumers focused on domestic holidays, so it’s no surprise the Supershow has been such a great success and it’s a very encouraging sign for the future of our shows.”
